Tables for 2 on the Century

How accurate are the MDRs on the deck plans? I count a total of 10 tables for 2 on the Century. Is that really all there are? How difficult will it be for us to get a table for 2? We are on Select dining (I think that's the term, this is our first Celebrity cruise). Will this be an issue? It won't completely ruin our cruise but we do like to dine alone as vacation time is reconnect time for us.

I guess it depends on what time you wish to dine. We were on a 15 night Hawaii cruise on the Century and ate at table for two at the very back of the dining room all but two nights. We asked the hostess very nicely for the same waiter each night and she was happy to oblige. We ate as soon as the dining room opened. The story might have been different if we had wanted to eat at 7:00 or 8:00. Hopefully someone else can speak to that. You can also make a reservation in Select Dining for a specific time and ask for one of those tables at the back. It's a lovely view as it's a wall of windows. If "James Bond" is still one of the waiters, he is great. He took care of us wonderfully.

Have a great cruise. She is a beautiful, elegant ship and one of my favorites.

"James" seems to move around a bit - he was on the Summit in October. He was great - very entertaining as well as an efficient waiter.

We never had any difficulty getting a table for 2 on the Century. I wouldn't depend too much on the deck plan diagrams for table sizes - think they often reconfigure them and can change the table tops according to demand.

We were on the Century for twenty-two nights this fall, and were also in Select dining. We tend to have dinner later, around 8 PM. Sometimes we asked to be seated at a group table, and other times asked to be seated for a table for two. There are a great number of tables for two, however, be aware that they are close to other tables, so frequently we began talking with folks at the next table.
