Blackbeard's reopened recently after doing renovations. It was better before, imo. No amber museum. Rum factory closed. One less house. No historic talk at end. Pirate statues now inside gift shop. No artist. No free rum punch.

We went to Megan's Bay last time. It was pretty enough. . . lots of locals. Had I been able to bring my chair & a cooler I would have been thrilled. There were chairs for rent; I don't remember the price but it wasn't cheap. There was also some sort of bar where you could buy drinks & lunch.

I am planning on taking my family of 7 (2 adults and 5 girls) to Black Beard's when we are in port on the 11th of Feb .. at $10 pp and kids under 12 free for the full tour, it's a great, inexpensive way to kill a couple of hours .. :p
