Recent Liberty Embarkations...

We are headed to FLL the night before our 1/13/14 Liberty cruise.

 

2 quick questions:

 

1.) we are staying at the Ocean Sky Resort the night before (priceline.. took a gamble- its a ways away, but got a 1 night rental car for $25 total.. will drop off at the pier) Anyway- thinking about stopping at the store on the way that Monday morning for wine/champagne to bring on-board. Are liquor stores or grocery stores open on Monday mornings there to purchase booze?

 

2.) Would like to be on the ship as early as possible. What time is good to arrive at the pier? I know I've read a few people say that some days the Liberty at Port Everglades boards late (they've received letters telling them to arrive around noon I read?) But haven't seen this lately.

Total Wine in Harbor Shops off 17th St. is right on the way to the port.

 

Arrival at the terminal around 11am should get you on the ship about the time they start boarding.

We were on Liberty on 12/12 and it was late boarding we did not get on until 12:30 we were at the port at 11

 

Total wine and beverages opens at 9 AM it is located close to the port in the Harbor shop plaza right off of the 17th causeway

They open at 9 am on Monday morning. Should you go Sunday evening, they close at 10 pm. There is a Publix supermarket in the same area, Publix opens at 7 am. they sell wine and champagne as well.

We were on 12-6 sailing

We arrived at 11AM but boarding didn't start til after 12:30PM

We were on the 12/21 sailing. Arrived at 10:45 and on board by 11:15 smooth as could be.
