Latitutes Points Question

Hi everyone!

 

I have a question about earning latitude points. As I understand it you earn one point per day of your cruise with several ways of earning additional points per cruise. The cruise I am booking departs Oct 25th this year and I plan on making my deposit in the next couple of weeks. This puts me really close to the 9 month mark where I may be able to earn an extra 7 points. I spoke with my NCL consultant who told me that I had 8 days left to earn the extra points, that doesn't sound quite right to me. I figured it was at least 2 or 3 more weeks. It's not a huge deal but I would hate to book and then realize that if I had only done it the day before I would have gotten double the points. Anyone know how they calculate this? Thanks :)

How do I earn rewards points?

 

You will earn one point per cruise night and an additional point per night if you book in a Suite* or in The Haven, book nine months or more in advance, or if you book with one of the Latitudes Insider Offers.

 

Get out a calender and count back 9 months remembering some months have only 30 days.

That is exactly OP's problem, the calendar and what NCL rep said do not match (NCL rep's deadline being a lot earlier than nine months by the calendar).

Lots of different answers, thoughts, and opinions. Unless I missed a post, why not simply book NOW? That way, you get the extra points no matter how they are calculated.
