Can't wait to see what Geo has to say as we are jumping ship next year to try P&O .

We love the Thomson crews and brilliant atmosphere so hope we aren't disappointed .....

Was having a blond/ senior moment! Didn't look past page 1 !

Just read it all, thanks Geo, really interesting.

Let's hope we enjoy our new year cruise next year on Arcadia ,long way off yet but I'll let everyone know what we think :-)

I was told that you can use e cigs inside the ship now on thoms...in delo and casino, dont know if its true or not?

My bridge partner used one inside on the Dream but I can't remember where.

On the subject of e cigarettes, a neighbour of ours is using e cigarettes to try and stop smoking. Someone complained at work that he was using his e cig inside and he has to go and stand out side with the smokers now

No need for ashtrays with e-cigs Kruzseeka. No ash ;):D

Oops! Sorry another senior moment! :o Didn't realise it was e-cigs we were talking about - in that case I have no idea if they are allowed anywhere/everywhere!!!!!!!! :D:rolleyes:

Ha ha, it happens to us all :D This morning I came upstairs and couldn't remember what I had come up here for :D

E-cigs are not allowed on planes, well not on Monarch anyway, not sure about Thomson

Just got a 2 grades free cabin upgrade for my upcoming Oceana cruise, plus the £150 extra on board credit for owning 100 Carnival shares. Best investment i have ever made with return equivalent to over 20% PA interest tax paid :)

I was looking at those shares the other day Dave , may buy 100, seems a good deal to get the extra OBC every time :-)

smoking outside is a perfectly law abiding happy pastime for some....actually....I am a non smoker.....in fact I dont have any bad habits at all (wicked grin) but mrs me is a smoker...she can happily (legally) smoke anytime she likes when outside in the fresh air as far as I am concerned ….its called tolerance of others (especially important when living in the close confines of a cruise ship filled with all of life)

she does try to be considerate when smoking and doesn’t like to smoke around others even when outside ( has been pilloried for it so many times)

I dont like people who barge past me (or others...elderly others!) when on the stairs....but I am not about to start a campaign to ban more than 2 people on any flight of steps at any one time:rolleyes:

i do believe that p&o and other cruise lines are considering banning smoking on balconies (mob rule speaks) hopefully we can continue to pick our noses and scratch our butts on our balconies if we wanted to;)

Geo I think you might be perfect like myself .:p

I bought a hundred shares in October 2013, had £150 For our cruise in December, just got another £150 for our next cruise in February and the share price has gone up from £20.89 to £26 :D

Terry

PS. Forgot to mention, had some great cruises with Thomson but for value for money you can't beat P&O. The ships are far superior to the Thomson fleet and P&O are usually cheaper!

I can see that, Hammers. I did look at P&O before I booked Thomson for next year but the Thoms itinerary is vastly superior to P&O and that swung it on this occasion.

Hi Little Nell, I must admit the Thomson Caribbean itineraries are better and there are usually less sea day's to boot.
