Recent Liberty diamond cruisers

Last several cruises we have noticed that taking your last cocktail with you was encouraged. Does anyone know if this is the case on the Liberty? Do not want to start an uproar, just curious. Thanks

Sailed with diamonds many time who show up to the MDR with their cocktails from the lounge!

We have late dining and would love to take a drink out of the lounge as we head down. Hopefully this isn't an issue!

On our 3 cruises last month, each entrance to the lounge was patrolled to avoid letting people out with drinks. I don't understand why we cannot leave the lounge with them.

No, haven't had any problem with DH taking that last unfinished cocktail with us from either the DL or CL onboard Indy, Liberty, Radiance or Oasis...regardless of where we were heading.

We were on Liberty in November and December. Never had a issue. Sometimes they will ask you to put it in a paper cup but not usually.

Since we are in the topic of Liberty, does anyone know if they allow children in the DL? We sailed Enchantment over the summer and were pleasantly surprised that the concierge in the DL allowed children. It was nice to have our DD join us a couple of evenings before dinner instead of putting her in the kids club.

 

PS I am not looking to start a debate on whether children should/should not be in the DL. I'm just looking for info since policy seems to vary by ship.

I sailed on the Liberty Dec. 2-12th and taking the last cocktail out was no problem. Personally I can't see the harm in it...it seems silly to waste a drink that has already been poured.

 

Yes, the policy has been changed to allow children in the diamond lounge. They politely ask that the child be well behaved. I have seen one or two children in the lounge, they haven't been a problem.

Last month, on both the Liberty and Legend of the Seas, there were no problems taking cocktails out of the CL. I don't know about the DL or overflow lounges.
