premium package, service?

Am interested in the beverage premium package, how is the service, as good as if you dont have this package? Is it long to get a glass of wine in the dining rooms, restaurants, etc.

Also, can I purchase onboard, or it has to be online, when I go on the Royal website, they say I must purchase before such a date...

PS Just gives us time to think about it if we want to purchase onboard, even better!

Was on serenade transatlantic for 15 nights and had the package. Bar service was speedy and up to royals typical high level of friendly personalized service. Package can be purchased onboard for same price. Never a problem with wine by the glass on mdr or getting drinks anywhere for that matter.

You can purchase on board or online. The restriction about purchasing before a certain date applies only to online purchases. They need a certain amount of time to get the info to the ship.
