No reason to pay their prices for it either. If candy is what you really want then bring it with you. I'm happy with the sweets they do offer but I have been known to bring protein bars with me for times when I am out in port and don't have the ability to eat in a timely manner.

Of all the food on cruises, candy is usually hard to come by. You can purchase a few things in the gift shop some times but we usually bring some chocolate.

I am diabetic and hooked on 100% chocolate. For some strange reason I have never seen that offered...anywhere ;). So, it travels in the same bag with DH's emergency supply of M&Ms. I get some funny looks but no argument.

I always bring Tic Tac's, M&M's, and other candy like that whenever I cruise. There is no issue with bringing that onboard.

standard carry-on for us.. jumbo bag of M&M both pain and peanut. jumbo package of twizzlers, 2 18oz cans of Planters Deluxe Mixed Nuts.
