Due to go on Riviera on our first Oceania Cruise in Feb. I am looking to book some speciality restaurants but would also like to see the shows in the Theatre. Can anyone tell me at what time these shows take place so I don't book the wrong time to eat. Thank you

I was on Riviera last week. Single lady we had eaten with in main dining room said it took her 3 hours in Toscana. Not sure what time or how many were at her table but I know she was not alone. We ate at all 4 specialty restaurants at 6:30 which is when they open and we were able to make it to the shows in time.

We are glad that people seemed to want to eat later on our recent cruise. This is usually not the case on other lines with fixed seating; it is often difficult to obtain a table on early seating. We don't like having to wait around to get a table and then having really slow service. Late dining does not work well with many older people like us. We never had to wait for a table, often got one for just the 2 of us, in the aft section by the window which was lovely.

I guess things have changed. On our first few sailings on Crystal most people wanted the late seating and it was hard to get them. We like to eat rather late (about 8 or so) Have not had a problem getting reservations at that time. :):)
