Nerves getting to you?

My first cruise was a three nighter out of Boston that left from where my office was at that time. We drove in to the ship, and boarded. It was all new, but since it was going to be only three nights, we knew if we did not like it, we could endure it for three nights. We actually made a reservation for a cruise the following spring on the ship.

 

When we walked into the room all concerns went away. It was the brand new Sovereign of the Seas. After that we learned as we went along.

BJ -- I'll keep this thread bookmarked. I've misplaced the thumbdrive I updated the FINAL list on!

 

I intended to tweak the NON-clothes list by what was actually used (the clothes list I already have pretty generalized due to frequent land-based travel using only carry-on sized suitcases). Of course had to hit the ground running when we got home so I didn't get to doing that. Will try to find the thumbdrive and work on it this week!

Just read through them with Notepad or Word open in a different window and copy things that sound like you will actually need or use them.

Try not to overpack. We certainly did. We also didn't check our luggage. Lesson learned. I was totally nervous and kept worrying. I plan on relaxing more this time around.
