Bam198 Posted January 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2014 I was wondering what gems you had all discovered on your adventures while traveling around with Royal Caribbean? Shops, places of interests and places off the beaten track?

MikeDone Posted January 12, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 12, 2014 The Swizzle Inn on Bermuda. One of the very few restaurants on the island that does not automatically add an 18% tip. Therefore the service is okay. The drinks are great and the food is good. A fun place! The Greenhouse on St. Thomas. Local fare, well prepared. we visit this place for lunch on every visit to the island. Hint - whatever RCCL says about "recommended" jewelry stores be sure to shop and compare at the other stores. We found better merchandise and prices at stores that were not recommended. This was on St Thomas.
Robinola Posted January 12, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 12, 2014 The Silver Connection in St Thomas. Jen's Cafe in St Thomas. Yum. Of course, Maho Beach in St Martin. The food truck at Maho Beach has delicious pizza. I wish I could go there today!
Trekker954 Posted January 12, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Forget the expensive massages on the ship, book Sally on your next Cozumel stop. Have had quite a few massages from Sally. She will send you very specific instructions how to reach her home spa by taxi. She is located right downtown in a residential area and she will call a taxi for you to return to the ship. She will even give you her wifi password so you can catch up on your email as you wait for your taxi if you bring your iphone or ipad. read some of the excellent reviews. We feel this was a great find, especially since we've been to Cozumel so many times. http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g150809-d1076193-r159530649-Barefoot_in_Cozumel-Cozumel_Yucatan_Peninsula.html
