I'm going to be sailing on the Splendor. Not sure if hair dryers are on board in all cabins, and even if they are can I bring my own?

Also something I really need to pack is a curling iron, are they permitted?

I've personally never had any problems with bringing my curling irons on Carnival ships, but I believe I read somewhere that hair dryers can be confiscated. I don't know why though...Maybe because they already provide them?

" Personal grooming devices such as hair dryers, flat and curling irons, shavers, etc., are allowed on board when used with proper caution. These devices should not be used when other electrical appliances are plugged in. However, if such devices are determined to pose a hazard, they will be removed and returned the last day of the cruise prior to debark."

Usually hair dryers that are provided are poor at drying & styling, I do prefer my own. My curling iron is a MUST have! Thanks for the input!
