Can anyone recommend a restaurant near Ft Lauderdale port?

We are going to have some time to kill in the morning. The plan is to drop our bags and come back at boarding time. Are there any nice places near port?

Check out Lester's Diner on State Road 84. It's been around forever and is always good.

 

If you have more time and want something more upscale, go to Las Olas Boulevard and you can sit outside of the Riverside Hotel.

There are many beach side restaurants. One of our favorites is a very casual one that has swing chairs for seats, basic pub food put great people watching and the ocean right across the street

Just remember that you can board the ship around 11-1130. :)

 

I generally find that by the time I wake up, shower, go to the hotel breakfast buffet, come back, pack up and head to the port, Im within minutes of boarding the ship.

 

Im one that feels like Ive paid for day 1 and want to get as much time as possible on board that day so I like to arrive at the Port around 1030 or so.

 

The only time I feel like I have time to kill on boarding morning is if I rise extremely early. I will usually just kill the time around the hotel though.
