Just checked price, our cruise that leaves in 21 days has a price drop :eek: how do I get the lower rate, booked through Carnival.

If you booked early saver, use this. If not, you are past final payment and likely not eligible for price drops.

Unless you booked Early Saver Rate, you may be out of luck as you'll need to abide by the rules on your cruise contract which prohibit price adjustments after final payment.

 

If that's the case, your next course of action will be to request an upgrade. You may be able to upgrade to a higher category. Call Carnival to see what you're eligible for.

I found a price reduction twice! TODAY I found the second. I called the 1-800 number. Told the nice lady that I thought there'd been a reduction. Sure enough -$80. The first one was -$240. CALL!

But have you already paid off the cruise? Once paid off, no reduction, just a possible upgrade.

You can pay off a cruise at anytime. It's the Final Payment Date that is the important.

If the cruise is paid off before final payment the difference is refunded to your method of payment.
