pasto5 Posted January 18, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 18, 2014 Carnival has Coke and NCL has Pepsi...............Coke is my favorite:) The Pepsi would be enough for me to jump ship and loyalty to NCL. I didn't know that!
Lerin Posted January 18, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 18, 2014 You can bring Pepsi products onboard if there is a certain pop you must have.

cocacola86 Posted January 18, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 18, 2014 Coke that's why we sail Carnival. That's why we don't sail NCL, even though you can bring it on board, the last cruise I drank about 7-8 Cokes a day and I don't know if I could bring enough Pop to last a 7 day cruise. SkyMaster Posted January 18, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 18, 2014 You can always carry a six pack or more of PEPSI when you board. Way less expensive anyway. ;) "SKY"

fishtaco Posted January 19, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 19, 2014 What is it with Coke V Pepsi? I grew up in England as a kid and up until the 1970,s you couldnt get Coke only Pepsi. I now live in Australia and most are Pepsi haters? I can buy Pepsi at half the price of Coke here :) I have no preference for either but drink Pepsi for the price:)
cocacola86 Posted January 19, 2014 #12 Share Posted January 19, 2014 I like Carnival food, customer service, we don't eat at the speciality restaurants, and that's what I find NCL is. I drink that much when I'm on vacation, maybe 2 at home. Why change something when it's working and doesn't need to be fixed. Butterflywings Posted January 19, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 19, 2014 (edited) Speaking of pop.....if you order pop though the Cheers or Bottomless Bubbles program, are you served a can or fountain? Ok other then added gimmicks such as bowling alleys and skating rinks, tell me honestly how you NCL superior to Carnival. Cause I have seen threads for NCL with the same complaints as people make about Carnival. As for drinking 7-8 cokes a day thats easy. 1 with lunch, 1 in the afternoon by the pool, 1 at dinner, and 3 well dancing the night away. You are at 6.. Not hard at all for someone like my DW who dosn' t drink alchoal to have 7. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

MrsMuffin Posted January 19, 2014 Author #18 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Thanks for the answers! I didn't realize that I would stir up such a discussion. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't need to plan on bringing on some coke for my hubby. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PAPERBKWRITER Posted January 19, 2014 #19 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Be aware if you buy Pepsi (probably Coke too) at one of the foreign ports they use a different recipe and it'll taste a lot different.
Sue Do-Over Posted January 19, 2014 #20 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Bubbles: they pour part of a can over ice in the glass. Individually: they hand you the can and a glass of ice -- same glass. Personally, I want to drink my cold diet coke directly from the can... but they won't give them up on the bubbles program. No idea why not.
