Single Supplement...

If Carnival is going to drop the single supplement, do you know approximately when they drop it? I was told it had to be dropped before final payment, but do you know WHEN??

by standard, they do NOT drop the single supplement, and charge the standard double occupancy rate.

however, recently, they have been running these specials where they DO.

i've noticed it tends to be within 1-3 months, but that is variable.

here is the list of current cruises which offer the no single supplement fares:

it's really a good deal and i hope they keep doing this. :)

I also took advantage of the no single supplement offerings - can't beat $405 for a 7 day, even out of San Juan - I'm using miles to fly in anyway.

When they stopped offering any breaks to solo cruisers a few years back I started cruising on other lines, which I still love, but Carnival feels like "home" for me. I also hope they continue to offer the no supplements, at least on some sailings.
