Boarding Time in Miami

We are on Navigator on February 23. What is an appropriate time to show up at the pier?

Last year we got there around 11; the marathon was going on and we tried to beat out some traffic. We waited over an hour tho.

We checked out of our hotel in south beach at noon and went straight over to Miami Terminal J. It is a short distance but it took us 30 min, given heavier traffic nearer to the port entrance. There was no line up to check in, in fact there was only one other couple and tons of port/shore staff. There were already plenty of people on the ship so anytime around noon arrival at port would be fine depending on where you are coming from.

We are on the NAV departing 22 MAR and plan on boarding at noon for a 5PM departure. However, we are fortunate (depends on how you look at it) to live 45 minutes north of the Miami Seaport.
