Tralfie Posted January 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Yup, it's not only possible but fairly easy. Expensive, but easy. Just give NCL a call with your reservation # and tell them what you want, they'll make the arrangements. I just arranged to have a bottle of bourbon in my room for my March 2 sailing on the breakaway. Richard/Tralfie

crystalspin Posted January 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) The prices Allie gave were still in effect in Nov-Dec '13. The list for onboard purchasing is a bit different (I have it if you are interested). If you buy on the ship you get six mixers instead of 3 mixers/3 garnishes. ETA: the e-mail contact for the Norwegian Star was GroupEventStar@ncl.com, so yours is probably GroupEventEpic@ncl.com . I called on the phone (number given in the e-mail response) to make the actual order; use your passenger or reservation number in case your cabin gets moved! You do not order your mixers ahead but pick them up at any bar after you're on board. Edited January 20, 2014 by crystalspin
DMH15 Posted January 20, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2014 I love the convenience of the bar setup and though expensive I find value in it for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
ConeyIslander Posted April 1, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2014 I wll sail on NCL Gem in April 2014. I tried the email contact groupeventgem@ncl.com in order to get a bar set up with Cutty Sark to no avail. They sent me an email stating they would get back to me. I called NCL, and no one there seemed to understand what I was talkng about. I was referred to the wine list. I finally opted to fill in the pop up screen box which offered me the opportunity to have NCL call me regarding any questions. I received the call the next morning. The agent assisted me in ordering a bar set up with Chivas Regal. They weren't offering Cutty Sark. He also told me that bar set ups aren't available for sale on board, and must be purchased prior to embarkation. I don't know if pre purchase is required on all ships or sailings, but I highly recommend it. Better to err on the side of caution, than to be left high and dry!
