casino free drink card

We always receive one as soon as we start playing on day one. We were told by a casino host if you earn more than 5000 points on your previous cruise you will receive a card on day one of your next cruise.

First time we sailed with Carnival I got the free drink card after about 5 days. They have sent a number of offers since then but haven't responded. Today they offered us a free cruise so of course we did respond to that. Cost us $80 for the balcony upgrade and port fees and taxes. Now I am wondering if that also comes with the free drink card of if I have to earn it again, which I do plan to do. Any info would be appreciated.

Usually any Casino Offer is accompanied by the On Us card upon embarkation. It was on the Premier Casino Cruise that I was on in October, but it wasn't actually a card but a red lanyard that identified me as being part of the group.

When I called the Players Club to see what comps I'm getting for my upcoming cruise next week they indicated that I'll get $75 casino cash and the On Us card. I can pick both up at the casino cage. I did get over the 5000 points on my last cruise.

On last years B2B I didn't get to 1500 points until the last day of the cruise. When I went to get my card I asked the casino host if it could be carried over to the next cruise and she said sure.....just come see her after the casino opens and she would give me a new card..........funny thing was though that even though the machines hadn't been paying off during most of that 1st cruise on the last night I won over $1000 early in the evening. I went and paid off our S&S card which had the Cheers program on it.........then later in the evening just before I was getting ready to cash out for the end of the cruise I won ANOTHER $1000.......I went and cashed out and saved that money to buy the Cheers program for the next cruise the next day..........

I've had it work both ways. One cruise, they offered me the drink card on the first night of the cruise. I've also had to wait until I got 1500 points. Last cruise I purchased Cheers and hit 1500 points halfway through the cruise and asked if I could carry over the drinks card to my next cruise and the casino host told me no. Some cruises I get $200 casino cash and others I get nothing. Who knows what mood they're in this week?? I've been offered a free cruise once but couldn't go, and my last booking I had no casino incentive. I always take the same amount of gambling money with me every cruise but it seems to equate to different criteria for any perks depending on how the wind is blowing. I booked a February cruise last week, my second booking within a month, and this will be my third cruise since November and got no incentive. It makes no sense how they offer comps.

How much do you have to spend to get 1500 points for the free drinks card.

And is it unlimited drinks?

One point equals $2.50 coin in for slots and $5.00 coin in for video poker. Table game ratings vary but on average pit bosses are looking for three to four hours of play per day and an average of $25 per hand.

Once one earns the card, drinks are unlimited only while one is playing in the casino. One can only order one drink at a time. The card is not valid outside the casino.

It can be. If one is already gambling that much, then the On Us program is just an added benefit. However, one should never gamble that much with the sole intentions of receiving free drinks. Many times, what one loses in the casino is more than they would have paid for the drinks.

I booked our upcoming cruise on a Saturday and the following Monday got an offer in the mail to book at a Casino Rate and with casino credit. Called them got the rate and was told to go to the casino cage with the cards we rec'v in the mail for the casino credit and to get my on Us card for the cruise. I was astounded to get this. We last cruised in 2012 on the magic and I guess I won enough to qualify for this!!

I had to call the casino department today to ask about setting up a slot pull so asked that too. You must put thru $2.50 for each point so that means you need to put $3750 thru the machines. Now keep in mind you are winning some of that back, just how much...that's why they call it gambling. And to look on the bright side, on Norwegian you need to put thru $5 for each point, or $7500. I have had some nice wins and of course some nice loses on both ships so it's really just luck. I have heard people say it is harder to get those points when you are playing table games.

FYI if you get 1500 points you get the drink on us card for that cruise , but if you get 5000 points total for the entire cruise , you automatically get the drink on us card as soon as you board your next cruise ...

Just need to call players club when you book your new cruise and let them know you are cruising and they will make sure its on your account .

If it's a VIP cruise (which it should be if it's free!) then you should be getting several perks; only one of which is the Drinks On Us card when you go into the casino.
