How far out do you get Guarentee cabin assigned?

I was just wondering since my sister might book an inside G. and I didn't know how far out to sail date do they actually assign the cabin to them.

anytime between the day she books it and the day she boards. there are a lot a variables.

 

there is not official way to know. and if they give her a room, it could change

I would say on average two weeks before the cruise but sometimes one doesnt know until they get ot the pier

Most of our guarantees were between 7 and 14 days before sailing.

I did a guarantee and I am 8 days away from my cruise. Still waiting on room assignment. :(

There is no good answer to this question. The last time I booked a Guarantee room it was assigned 2 days after I booked, 522 days before the cruise.:eek: It never changed. On another occasion we did not get our cabin assigned until we got to the pier.

I had a guarantee once that was assigned about 2 weeks after I booked. However, it changed about 2 weeks before the cruise, and was reassigned as "TBA". Didn't know until I got to the port what the new cabin was.

The last time I had a guarantee, it wasn't assigned until I got to the pier! The men who take your luggage had a master list of people and cabin numbers along with blank luggage tags to be filled out there.

 

It worked out very well!
