Tomo72 Posted January 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2014 After recent noise issues we experienced on the Pacific Pearl, can we please ask for advice on interior cabins on the Rhapsody of the Seas. We need a triple and a twin room. We dont spend a lot of time in the cabin, so luxury isnt important to us. But like a bit of quiet for an afternoon nap. Rare aussielozzie18 Posted January 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2014 I was on the Rhapsody at Christmas. We were on Deck 2. Lovely and quiet. Would book this deck again. We had an inside cabin for 3 (cabin 2071). No noise issues in this cabin. 2 singles beds and a pullman bed. Pullman bed was set up after dinner each evening. joybook Posted January 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2014 We were on ROS in January last year in an inside cabin - deck 3 or 4 I think. Everything fine except be careful and do not get an inside cabin which adjoins a staircase. Children seem to love jumping down the stairs two or three at a time all day and til about 11.00pm. It can be quite annoying - bump, bump, bump etc. Other than that the inside cabin was fine in every sense and we would do it again on this ship:)
Tomo72 Posted January 27, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted January 27, 2014 The only interconnecting cabins on the interior on lower decks are on deck four under the guest services and casino. Would there be much noise experienced from these areas?
The_Big_M Posted January 27, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2014 The only interconnecting cabins on the interior on lower decks are on deck four under the guest services and casino. Would there be much noise experienced from these areas? Haven't tried those, but I'd say it's unlikely. The casino is well carpeted, and isn't a loud noise producing area. The guest services area just has people queuing, no chairs to scrape, so I wouldn't expect it to produce much noise below either.
