Explorer of the Seas Deck 6 Balcony Room

Deck 6 balconies have pros and cons. Personally, we love them. They are closed in so you feel that you have your own space. Not much noise around you since the sides are all metal. No you can't see out the bottom of the rail but you can see fine above the rail. My husdand had no problems with the view but since I'm short (5'1") I saw mostly sky unless I was standing.

Hope this helps.

I think Most if not all of the balconies on Explorer are closed in with metal sides so Deck 6 would not be any different than any of the others - the Difference on deck 6 is that when sitting the enclosure looking out to the sea is metal - decks 7 and 8 have glass looking out - so if you are short - your view will definitely be obstructed by the solid wall. Try to book another deck.
