Giovanni's food looks amazing. What does a solo cruiser do? I do not have a large appetite. But this looks too good to resist. Would I be able to get small portions for just little ol' me? Yum!

This question may have been asked, but did you still have to stand in line for the ice shows tickets.

Yes, you still have to get tickets unless you want to take a chance with the standby line. They also have some in the Diamond and Concierge lounges if you've got access to them.

 

Studio B wasn't full during our show, so I'd wager that you could get by doing the standby line as long as you're not hung up on being front-row in the center.

I didn't do any of the main theater shows, I only snuck in there one day while it was closed to get my pictures.

 

The Labyrinth dance club is the biggest spot for dancing, they'll be playing top 40 and hip hop stuff. It usually doesn't get going until around midnight.

 

There will also be the Club 20 party in the Solarium one night, it's nice because it's outdoors.

Thank you again for your fantastic review. We are taking our first RCCI cruise on Indy on March 15th. Could you share any theme nights you remember that we could factor in as we plan our packing for the cruise? Appreciate your time.

 

I don't recall any theme nights, I'm not even sure if they had the usual 70s party night like they do on some of the other ships.

 

Maybe some of my fellow cruisers from that week can help out with this one.

This is too funny, we just switched from the Brilliance on March 25 to the Indy on the 23rd. I haven't been on her for years and wanted to read a recent review to get pictures to refresh my memory. What a pleasant surprise to find your thread. Thank you so much for sharing.

Are all pools on Indy fresh water pools?

 

Yes, I believe they all are. I was only in the Solarium pool, but it was definitely fresh water.

This has been a wonderful thread!!! We are leaving on 2/15/14 and I have a question about bathroom amenities..... was there bath soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower????
