Robinola Posted February 5, 2014 #301 Share Posted February 5, 2014 And some food porn from our dinner at Giovannis Giovanni's food looks amazing. What does a solo cruiser do? I do not have a large appetite. But this looks too good to resist. Would I be able to get small portions for just little ol' me? Yum!
DarthGrady Posted February 5, 2014 Author #302 Share Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) I'm sure they could do half portions for you. There will be a Giovanni's crewman on the promenade the first day that should be able to tell you. Robinola Posted February 5, 2014 #303 Share Posted February 5, 2014 What are the ingredients of a strongbow?
DarthGrady Posted February 5, 2014 Author #304 Share Posted February 5, 2014 What are the ingredients of a strongbow? It's a hard cider, so they make it from apples. I believe hard ciders are also gluten free, so there's another benefit. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

marcyjane Posted February 6, 2014 #306 Share Posted February 6, 2014 This question may have been asked, but did you still have to stand in line for the ice shows tickets. Thanks, Marcy:)
DarthGrady Posted February 6, 2014 Author #307 Share Posted February 6, 2014 This question may have been asked, but did you still have to stand in line for the ice shows tickets. Thanks, Marcy:) Yes, you still have to get tickets unless you want to take a chance with the standby line. They also have some in the Diamond and Concierge lounges if you've got access to them. Studio B wasn't full during our show, so I'd wager that you could get by doing the standby line as long as you're not hung up on being front-row in the center. I didn't do any of the main theater shows, I only snuck in there one day while it was closed to get my pictures. The Labyrinth dance club is the biggest spot for dancing, they'll be playing top 40 and hip hop stuff. It usually doesn't get going until around midnight. There will also be the Club 20 party in the Solarium one night, it's nice because it's outdoors. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

cruisin4dhr Posted February 8, 2014 #316 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Grady, Thank you again for your fantastic review. We are taking our first RCCI cruise on Indy on March 15th. Could you share any theme nights you remember that we could factor in as we plan our packing for the cruise? Appreciate your time.

Could you share any theme nights you remember that we could factor in as we plan our packing for the cruise? Appreciate your time. I don't recall any theme nights, I'm not even sure if they had the usual 70s party night like they do on some of the other ships. Maybe some of my fellow cruisers from that week can help out with this one. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
AZEmom Posted February 9, 2014 #318 Share Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) "We are planning on booking the Brilliance for March 20th, so I’ll be looking forward to that." This is too funny, we just switched from the Brilliance on March 25 to the Indy on the 23rd. I haven't been on her for years and wanted to read a recent review to get pictures to refresh my memory. What a pleasant surprise to find your thread. Thank you so much for sharing. I guess I need to update my signature line now! lol Edited February 9, 2014 by AZEmom
ratherbecruisin2 Posted February 10, 2014 #319 Share Posted February 10, 2014 The mini cupcakes were $1.50. I thought I would try the mini before springing for the full size one. I found the cake part to be a little dry. The icing was yummy. Maybe the full size ones were less dry. Decided not to chance it.

Topo Gigio Posted February 10, 2014 #322 Share Posted February 10, 2014 Thanks. Doing the same cruise in a couple of weeks. Was on her first Eastern Caribbean cruise in 2008. Only difference was that we went to St.Thomas i.s.o. St.Kitts.
