becci19 Posted January 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2014 Anyone have issues with RCI and on board credit? I booked a cruise back in August 2013 during the Flag Ship Sale and still haven't had my on board credit applied to my booking...:(

When you board, OBC is normally applied to your account on the 2nd day.

3eaglesfam Posted January 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2014 I booked a few weeks ago and my OBC from my RC Visa card have not been applied yet. I was told when I called to Call back 3 weeks before we sail and it should be there by then.
becci19 Posted January 29, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted January 29, 2014 I have spoken to RCI about it. At the time of booking they told me to call back in a month (September 2013). I called back and they told me to call back in three months (Dec 2013/Jan 2014). I called in January 2014 and they told me to call back in two weeks. They also said he no OBC applied which they were incorrect about. My last call which was this week, they told me to call back in a week. I am wanting a PDF to confirm the onboard credit as I booked during a sale of theirs.. I know you can't see it on the online pre planner part. The bad communication is making me wonder if they are trying not to honour it.. The cruise isn't until September but I will be busy studying my last semester of uni so I want it all organised asap so I can focus! steveru621 Posted January 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2014 You can't see OBC online. Request a booking confirmation.
cb at sea Posted January 29, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2014 You won't have a credit until you are ONBOARD...hence, the "Onboard Credit"! If someone gave your the OBC, ask for an e-mail confirming it. It still won't show until you're on the ship, but you'll feel better!
