Shorts

Did I see somewhere that Disney allows shorts in the main dining rooms now?

Just curious as we are going on our first Disney cruise in 3 weeks!

Yes. From the DCL site:

Q:What should I wear to dinner?

A:The dress code for dinner varies by the venue or theme night of your cruise. In general, most meals are "cruise casual"—no swimwear or tank tops. Most cruises also have special theme nights with optional opportunities to get dressed up for a special family photo.

There is far more angst on these boards than you'll ever see on the ship where the "suggested attire" is concerned. The only venues with enforced dress codes are the adult only restaurants; those codes can ve found on the DCL web site under the name of the restaurant.

You'll see a lot of "anything goes" on board, but most people do make an effort to clean up for dinner. The shorts that go to the gym are usually not the same ones that appear in the dining room. But then there are the other sort of guests too.....
