We said on the Carnival Miracle April 5 and it shows we stay in port overnite in PV. Does anyone know if the ship stays docked overnite or does it go out to sea and come back in the morning? If it stays docked then I guess the casino will be closed. Thanks.

Hi,

We are on the same cruise in April.

Yes, the ship is docked and so the casino is closed.

There should be fun things to do on shore since PV is a great city! If you go to the Roll Call section on this web site you'll find one for our cruise. It has been very quiet so come on over and say "hi".

I've travled fo PV for years and years and the last thing I would do is gamble in PV the chances of you losing are as high as they are on cruise ships there not Vegas. And to show you how corrupt the business is in PV here is one article that you can read into.

I also know that in the not so many years ago the banditos (police) where holding them up and taking cash as they were illegal.

We were just in PV a couple weeks ago and stuck our head into a casino and there is zero atmosphere also very very smoky.

Also business are now starting to setup slots machines (1 or 2) in there business I would stay clear of them.
