okgirl Posted February 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Do they have frig. on the Liberty? Yes, all cabins on the Liberty have the mini fridges but they don't cool very well and they have soda's and liquors in them that are for sale. They are not recommended for use to store medications. Ocean Dancer Posted February 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Yes, you can ask the steward to remove their items and put in your own. First time ever....we seem to have had a REAL fridge!!!! We had ice crystals in our soda/water!! Maybe because we had a suite? First suite we ever had. Is this the norm for suites?

Sparky2 Posted February 7, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Yes, all cabins on the Liberty have the mini fridges but they don't cool very well and they have soda's and liquors in them that are for sale. They are not recommended for use to store medications. We had an inside-midship on Liberty the last 2 weeks of January. Surprisingly, this was the coldest fridge we've ever had on a CCL ship. I was pleasantly surprised. We removed all of the pop, beer, etc. from the inside of fridge & stored it on bottom of closet. We left the mini-bottles of booze in the fridge door. Aplmac Posted February 7, 2014 #8 Share Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Heat-exchange units confined to tiny cabinet spaces can't work very efficiently! I've learned to keep the cabinet door open/ajar to let the warm air out -which in turns lets the fridge work a lot more efficiently. Don't mix up the cabinet-door with the fridge-door, okay? .
