SrTrPro Posted February 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Hello All, Is the OBC automatically applied to your total Sea Pass bill at the end of the cruise or can you use it for only certain things? Sailing 3/6 on the Century Panama Canal Cruise. Thanks, Bruce
rico Posted February 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Ours have always just been applied as a negative general entry on the Sea Pass account. They always seem to show up on day two of the cruise. I'm not aware of any specific exclusions for their use.
wallie5446 Posted February 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) The OBC is automatically applied at the beginning so as the week progresses you know how much you have left to spend!:D Edited February 7, 2014 by wallie5446
fleckle Posted February 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Hello All, Is the OBC automatically applied to your total Sea Pass bill at the end of the cruise or can you use it for only certain things? Ours has always shown up on our onboard account, but sometimes does not appear there until we are a couple of days into the cruise. So we have learned to wait a few days to see if it shows up before saying anything. It can be used for just about any expense on the ship, for example to pay for specialty restaurants, gratuities, wine, spa treatments, shore excursions, gym or computer classes, anything you buy on board. But it could not be used for the deposit when booking a future cruse. We needed to use a credit card for that purpose.
Wine-O Posted February 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 7, 2014 It will show up around day 2 on your seapass account. You can purchase anything you would like from it, including booze from the liquor store, a massage, gratuities, specialty restaurants, and get cash from the casino for 5%. BosoxI Posted February 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 7, 2014 But just to be safe and to make things easy for yourself should a question arise, be sure to take whatever paperwork you have showing your credits. Most of the time nothing will go awry, but twice in the last year, I used my invoice to prove I was entitled to OBCs.

They broke it into 2 seperate OBC's. When we got on the Ship, only one was showing up. Glad we took the email's from CC & BOA. Guest services was of no help, the Captian Club Hostess did all the work to get it fixed.
