I was noticing that there is not too much information on the Conquest since it has moved to Miami, other than two recent reviews. Any particular reason why??? We are booked for Dec. 14-21 for my 30th birthday/5year anniversary cruise, in a balcony cabin on the lido deck, and are hoping we didnt make a mistake.

Sometimes, no news is good news. Reviews can be helpful if they provide good information and constructive criticism. I tend to skip those that are totally negative and have nothing good or helpful to say. Beyond the ship's particulars, such as decor, on board amenities, accommodations, staff, etc., what other information are you looking for?

I've been on her twice. One pre 2.0 & one post 2.0. What info were you looking for? We really liked the Guys Burgers and the Blue Iguana Burritos. The shows were good, but not like before. Still had the old menus. Can't speak of kid activities. We went in Dec. Let me know if you want to know more.

We had a wonderful cruise on the Conquest. Not sure if you read my review yet but I will bump it to the top on the board so you can take a peek!

We were on the Conquest on a b2b2b for 3 weeks this past December. Had a great time. Love the ship! Personnel were very nice. I will say that the CD left a lot to be desired...Gary Burnley I think.

The food was good. The waiters we had were awesome...had a different table, late sitting every week.

The deck parties left a lot to be desired. Was suppose to be free prizes and fun. Right. The free prizes were plastic whistles and beads and the entertainment was a dj and line dancing. Not entertaining at all.

The band Government Shutdown was really good. They played outside the casino.

We didn't go to the shows because they are the new ones and we have already seen them all and I did not like any of them and would not go back a second time.

They did have the Hasbro game 2 nights for main entertainment. A big mistake in my opinion.

No reason to worry, great ship.

Thank you all so much. I just hadnt really seen anybody say anything about the ship, like I said, other than the two recent reviews. I just see so much about some of the larger ships that it had me worried.

I loved the Conquest! It is a beautiful ship. We sailed on her just after the 2.0 upgrades. Loved the Alchemy Bar. It was my nightly before dinner drink and after dinner drink hang out spot. I had any time dinning but always requested the same waiter every night Tyrone. He was great and got to know each of us. Whenever he was working the Lido Deck during the day he would always say: "Hey Sean" even if he would across the way from me.

I had Bonine and took it the first day but after that I didn't not need it. The sea were calm and the ship was very stable.

I would go back on the Conquest if it were closer to me.

Not sure if you have seen my review, but feel free to check it out. DH and I were on her last month. My review is extensive with tons of pics. The link is in my signature.

Just got off the Conquest Feb 2. We had a great time on her, my second trip on the Conquest. No negatives about the ship, we had cabin 9231 and if you are lucky enough to be on that same area you will have the best stewards I have ever had, K and double K. IMO, Pizza sucks, but thats every carnival ship and with so many options I really didn't care, just ate room service BLT's for our late night snack!
