navigator galveston water and cokes

Has anyone been able to pack water and soft drinks and not have them taken away? I would like to bring some coke-a few cans and a few bottles of water.

We always take a case of water with a luggage tag taped across the top and checked in with your checked luggage. We also take a 12-pack of Coke in a checked bag. They've always made it to our cabin without any problems. :)

Our friends carried on a 12 pack of DP on our 2/5 Navigator cruise without any problems.

Someone posted that you can't put a luggage tag on it. the porters will not accept it.

 

My personal experience, out of Galveston, is about 50%. Last time we sailed our water was confiscated and held but our coke made it with no problem. Before that we never had a problem. But we usually sail around Spring Break. I know they are much stricter at that time of year.

we also take water and soda. I put it in a carry on with wheels and take it with me, not checked in. never had a problem.
