What restaurants and activities are available while a ship is docked in Bermuda

I am exploring cruises to Bermuda. I read someplace that the casino was not open while ships were docked in Bermuda. I understand this is changing or has changed. This got me thinking about what else was open or not open while the chip was docked in Bermuda. Since it is there for a couple of nights, I was wondering what life was like onboard the ship in the evening. Are there shows? Do all of the restaurants on Breakaway remain open, or are some activities discontinued while in port.

All restaurants will be open for dinner, including the specialty restaurants. There will also be the shows (Rock of Ages, Burn the Floor, etc). I have all the dailies from my cruise to Bermuda last May (on Breakaway) so if you have specific questions, please ask.

 

My understanding is that the casino will now be allowed to open at 9:00 p.m. while in port.:)

I cant speak for Breakaway, but...

 

On the Dawn (from Boston) last summer...

 

MDRs were open for breakfast and dinner daily

Blue Lagoon is open 24/7 (Osheehan equivalent)

Buffet was open about 20/7

(I think room service was 24/7 too, but I didn't order and am not 100% sure)

 

All specialties were open for dinner every night

All shows ran every night

 

Daytime activites were limited while docked (trivia, sales shows, art auctions, music by the pool etc).

 

Casino was closed while docked.

IIRC with the new law, the casino will only be open during the evening hours. Shut down during the day.

Theres so much to soon the island, we never spend much time on the ship… I so know that the spa will offer discounts for services while in port. The restaurants are open….
