Caught looking at Solstice

:( I have been eyeballing Soltice's Vancouver to Hawaii run in Sept. Two weeks ago there was lots of availability, but I decided to wait and possibly book Solstice while on Eclipse in April. Now all the verandas are booked and other categories are beyond my price point, even inside at $2500. So now I wait to see if cabins open back up at a price I'm willing to pay. Wish I had some way to understand who booked all those veranda cabins. I may just fly to Hawaii in September and do a non cruise vacation.

Is there a possibility a travel agency bought a big block so they could sell it as a group rate?

Prices have dropped quite a bit on the first sailing of Solstice into Vancouver from Honolulu (Apr 28 - May 8). In fact it is listed on the Tuesday special today. Perhaps the same thing will happen with the Sept sailing once final payment has passed.
