highlandshores Posted February 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2014 We have been to St Lucia before and took an Island tour. Looking for taking a boat tour around the island to see it in a different perspective. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions would be welcomed :)

There are several companies that do coastal sails down the West coast for either a beach day or whale watching or snorkeling tours. Some include Exodus or Captain Tom's, Mystic Man and Spencer Ambrose. The southern and eastern coasts have some very rough patches, along with a rough passage through the cannel between St. Lucia and Martinique, finding an around-the-island boat ride will be very tough and expensive. You can easily do an around-the-island drive no problem. With stops, would be 5-6 hours (including lots of stops and lunch) If you just drove around - 3 hours. Would run around $200+ for the day. Enjoy your visit.

Any suggestions would be welcomed :) I used Herod this past January for his Island Splendor Tour. He took us to the different areas of the island and told us about the people who lived there and what they were known for. Then we spent some time at the beach near the Pitons, had lunch and then had a quick stop at a black sand beach. I enjoyed it and would recommend it for something different. Its not the whole island but it was an enjoyable day. What I enjoyed most was that it wasn't crowded at all. He had less then 20 people total. Here is the link to see exactly what it includes and cost. http://www.herodstours.com/island_sp_coastal_cruise.html Edited February 20, 2014 by girlscruise2011
