What is the port called?

Is there an ATM close by?

Somewhere we can purchase toiletries?

*really missing the search function

The Pan American Pier. The taxi driver will know this is where the Celebrity cruise ships embark. It is across the harbor from Old San Juan.

I cannot answer your other questions.

Like the previous poster said, it is the PanAm pier. Not any shops that you could walk to to get toiletries. Do not remember seeing an ATM but was not looking for one.

Hope this helps.

There was a small store that sold toiletries with a very limited selection.

Also a liquor store where you could buy wine or soda.

(I am assuming no alcohol package)

There is NOTHING next to the pier.

I know we've passed a larger supermarket on our way into and out of the airport. You could ask your taxi to stop there if it worth the taxi waiting time to you. If you do this then make sure they understand what you want, and what the charge will be, before you get into the cab. Not all taxi drivers speak English well but there is usually a dispatcher at the airport who does and can communicate this to the taxi driver if there is a communication problem.

I'd imagine there would be ATM machines at the airport you could use before you head to the ship. Personally, if I knew I'd need cash before embarking I'd just bring more with me from home. You are not talking about big time difference between arrival at the airport and getting to the ship. Of course this presumes you are arriving the day of the cruise but if you are arriving a day or more in advance you can find all of this in town or near your hotel.

Pan American Pier as others have said.

I didn't see much of a place to purchase things at the pier. We walked to our Walgreens near our hotel before heading to the pier.

We went to the bank at home and got the cash we needed for the trip and brought it with us. We divided it up between me and my husband, between bags, hidden as much as possible, Then put it in the safe as soon as we got into our cabin.

Have a great cruise!
