Best Seattle Hotel for Cascade Train?

We are arriving in Seattle at 10PM from Vancouver on the Amtrak and then getting back on the train at 10AM the next morning to continue down to San Francisco.

 

The new Silver Cloud looks great but won't be open by early May. It looks like the best hotel within walking distance to the station is the Best Western Pioneer Square. The lowest rate I could find was $149+tax. Alot considering we'll be there for such a short time. But less expensive hotels would require taxi rides.

 

I found the Best Western Loyal Inn (1.5 miles from station) for a lower rate and they have a free shuttle to downtown which runs from 8AM to 11PM.
