anniegb Posted February 28, 2014 #26 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Well some roll calls can be quite lengthy and if its over 50 pages, not that uncommon, my last roll call was 100 pages long. Certainly not going to read all of the posts for page after page to find out if a specific question has been answered. Some people need to try zen or yoga or something to not bugged by a question asked more than once. Definately don't be a teacher for a career. Sorry They asked the same question 3 times almost immediately after each other in a single page....... . They didn't like the answer so they kept asking the question again and again. I had a boss like that. BTW I was a teacher for a period. Lazy is what I call it and everyone on the roll call eventually threw them a deafie :) Annie
legion3 Posted February 28, 2014 #27 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Hmmm well I guess that would bug me to but it seems unlikely that scenario would happen often. Redundancy thy name is cruis critic.
anniegb Posted February 28, 2014 #28 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Hmmm well I guess that would bug me to but it seems unlikely that scenario would happen often. Redundancy thy name is cruis critic. To be fair it doesn't happen very often and it was a very experienced European cruiser who asked questions that nobody could answer :) Posts caused frustration all round the roll call fell away which was sad. I cannot comment on the Divina - I won't be sailing that ship soon. I'll sign off as I am off tomorrow on a month long safari/cruise trip. Happy cruising everyone Annie

legion3 Posted March 1, 2014 #30 Share Posted March 1, 2014 What was the question ? Mine is a G'n'T. Is that a gin and tonic? Or good news translation? Or Germany's Next Topmodel? Or George Negus Tonight? Cheers ;)
Skipper Tim Posted March 1, 2014 #31 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Is that a gin and tonic? Or good news translation? Or Germany's Next Topmodel? Or George Negus Tonight? Cheers ;) That is four questions and two gin and tonics later..... If the search function worked again, would it be possible to search with a negative term, e.g."-Divina" and save that link? sidari Posted March 1, 2014 #32 Share Posted March 1, 2014 A section for each of the 12 ships would be much better and at least that way posts could be kept separated and people could search for their information within each category.
American Bear Posted March 1, 2014 #33 Share Posted March 1, 2014 Seriously, a 30 day cruise/safari, and you're troubled by some cruisers repetitive questions? Sounds like you have a great life, enjoy!:D

I admit I have an issue with lazy posters but that is probably I do my own research. Annie PS correction it is a 35 day trip:)
Skipper Tim Posted March 1, 2014 #35 Share Posted March 1, 2014 I cope thanks. I admit I have an issue with lazy posters but that is probably I do my own research. Exactly. It is like starting a new discussion thread, <How is what I selfishly need to know> from <my booked cabin> on <this ship> in < x months time>, hey? I don't mind any question if it is responsibly asked. If someone asks a shallow question, the chances are they will get a shallow reply. Repetitive questions will not answers remotely nearer the truth. Enough, I am off to the truth of dinner and honest company. Tim.

moomoocow Posted March 1, 2014 #39 Share Posted March 1, 2014 by any chance would you know the labels of vodka that the divina has? Skyy or Smirnoff? From what I've read they use Absolut for well drinks but have Grey Goose also. This is a very important question that I would love answered too. :D
