confirmation that surcharge of specialty restaurants covers gratuity

I did the search function on this website and read the first 7-8 searches and it appears that the surcharge you pay includes gratuity for the specialty restaurants. I just wanted to get everyone's experience with it.

 

We have done lots of speciality on NCL and the regular service charge to your cabin covered it (although we always left an extra $5 or $10).

 

We did our first Celebrity two weeks ago but no specialty (we were in BLU). But on the Reflection we want to do a 4 or 5 night package.

 

this makes sense with the higher than other cruise lines surcharge.

Don't forget that while the gratuity is included, when they bring your receipt, it has a space for additional gratuity, if you so please. I wasn't paying attention and tacked on an additional 15% one night out of habit. No big deal. They were very good.
