Sapphire Princess--update on changes being made

Keith, my baked potato was small but thoroughly cooked. Best I've had in a long time. :)

 

They seem to be lukewarm, won't melt butter on them. :(

Waiter even said they had alot sent back.

 

I looked for you when we got off.

Figured you were coming later probably.

Rey from the bar staff in Club Fusion was great, our waitstaff (late traditional) was very good. My cabin steward was just OK. Little things like he didn't empty the wastebasket several times, never received my Elite amenities in the bathroom, took three days and three requests to get laundry bags, etc. Nothing major.

 

I heard from other Elites that they also didn't get the bathroom amenities. One person went to the Circle host to get the amenities.

Well, darn! We got there early, at about 10:15am. :(

We found Sterling lacking too especially when we are used to the CG.

Its kind of a step down. :(

 

We were on the same 22nd sailing....

 

Went to Sterling on the previous Royal and it was absolutely awesome, this time around somehow sitting in a cordoned off section of the Horizon Court was kind of meh truth be told.

 

I haven't seen anybody mention the strong smell of sewage most days on deck. One day was really bad inside forward on the promenade deck near the elevators.

I didn't get amenities on the 4 day cruise, and I didn't ask. On the 7 day cruise I asked, and got them. It seems if you don't ask, you don't get them. I noticed this on the Royal last year as well, it seems like it might be a trend!

I disembarked the Sapphire this morning. As said, a lot of changes.

 

Would have been easier to keep the Sapphire here ... and build the Royal for there :rolleyes:
