Single_dreamer Posted March 25, 2014 #28 Share Posted March 25, 2014 A full description of the "Cheers Beverage Program" can be found here: https://www.goccl.com/~/media/Files/Irman/bookccl/shipboard_knowledge/My_Awesome_Bar_Program.pdf I'm interested in the types and prices of NA frozen drinks and water. Maybe I should plan to buy water and bring it on board after leaving the airport. First time on Carnival and I want to have a good time, not having to worry about the nickel and dime effect. Lol. tncap Posted March 25, 2014 #29 Share Posted March 25, 2014 I'm interested in the types and prices of NA frozen drinks and water. You can get any frozen cocktail as a virgin drink and they will be a couple of dollars less than the alcohol version. I buy water for the cabin from Bon Voyage prior to sailing. 45014 Posted March 25, 2014 #30 Share Posted March 25, 2014 I don't understand the appeal of drinking 15 alcoholic drinks in a day. I mean, after you've passed out/had security escort you back to your room, how much fun are you really having? It's not that I don't drink (splitting a fishbowl in RedFrog is fun!) but it's the thought process of "I need to make sure I drink at least 8 beers today to not lose money on the drink card" that takes the fun out of it. At least for me. I could not agree more. I cannot imagine "needing" more than 15 drinks a day. (I am not a tea totaler, I enjoy having a drink, but not to excess.) Rod in Az Posted March 25, 2014 #31 Share Posted March 25, 2014 I'm interested in the types and prices of NA frozen drinks and water. Maybe I should plan to buy water and bring it on board after leaving the airport. First time on Carnival and I want to have a good time, not having to worry about the nickel and dime effect. Lol. The current menu prices show frozen NA drinks at $4.75 (Pina Coladas, Daiquiris and the like), and bottle water at $1.95 (.5L) and $3.95 (1.5L). If you want to see the bar menus you can go to: http://www.zydecocruiser.net/Carnival-Bar-Menu/CarnivalCruiseBarMenu.htm We worried about the bottled water issue when we took all of the kids on a family cruise. I never have an issue with the water on the ships, but the kids all like bottled water. We bought them the Brita Filtering water bottles (buying them in a three pack with extra filters included they were less than $7 each). If they had insisted that bottled water was a must, I would have carried on bottles. We use a roller duffel for our carry on as it gets tiring picking up an putting down a non-wheeled piece of luggage.

If you are getting a frozen virgin drink do you still have to wait 5 minutes between ordering drinks or is the 5 minute rule for alcoholic drinks only?
