Pre cruise Vacation and luggage question

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids age 6 and 8 cruising on the Dawn this July 4th, this is our first ever cruise so we are very excited. We have a mini suite, we will be travelling from Ireland and will be visiting the Boston area for a week pre cruise, I will be trying to pack as light as possible but just wondering where luggage can be stored in the stateroom, can they fit under a bed? are bags better than cases? I appreciate your replies.

I can't talk specifically about the Dawn, but there is usually plenty of room to store cases under the beds. We usually have three cases and storing them is no problem.

Cases will be ideal. Much easier to move around with and easy to store.

Plenty of room to store the cases under the bed on the Dawn. If the bag does not slide under easily, you can lift the bed a little to get the case by the frame. Hope you have a great cruise. :)
