Does anyone have any recommendations for dining and entertainment for the one night cruise on the GEM?

Are all the restaurants open? Due to the limited time aboard what you recommend doing?

Not sure if everything will be available since this is a shorter cruise.

I am sailing on the one nighter as well, I have done them many times. Everything is basically the same with the exception of the show I think there is only one instead of two show times. Blue lagoon does close at some point it is not open 24 hours on the one day, also room service usually not available either unless you have butler service.

There is soooo much to do, look at the freestyle daily there will be music events and Bliss lounge will be open of course the casino is open but does close around three. As far as dinner if you want a specialty restaurant book early because everyone is trying to squeeze a week into one night they book up fast.

Hope you enjoy !!!

Have done 1 nighters on NCL ships and they're a lot of fun. Maximize your time by arriving by early afternoon date of sailing. All dining options are open. We don't bother making specialty restaurant reservations so we can be flexible and see what we want to do for that one night onboard. We haven't waited long to get seated in the already-included dining rooms. For late night, the buffet will have food until maybe 2am. There is usually a production show and a comedian in the theater and various parties throughout the ship. Love the Spinnaker Lounge.

Note that US citizens can use their driver's license as ID. No additional paperwork needed.

have fun!
