need hotel in jacksonville

we need a hotel for 4, for one night pre cruise. we need a least 3 to 4 star hotel and I can't seem to find one . Has anyone stayed in the area or close bye, we need help.

Hi, I live here. If you want to stay near the port there are a bunch of hotels/

motels up by the airport.

There are no hotels "right on top of the port".

 

The airport is about 12 miles from the port. There are many places along

"Airport Road".

 

Holiday Inn, Courtyard By Marriott, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, Wingate Inn,

Hilton Garden Inn, Residence Inn........those are just a few. I have been inside all of them. I don't know how many stars they have but are probably

at least 3 for most of them.

There is a Ruby Tuesdays and LongHorn Steak next to the Fairfield Inn too.

 

If you want something fancier you can choose downtown. There is an Omni

and an Adams Mark that is being turned into a Hyatt.

There is also a Holiday Inn Express right by the port at 9A & Hecksher Drive. South on 9A & Monument Road is a Hampton Inn (close to the mall).

 

Downtown there is the Omni, Hyatt, Hilton, Radisson, Hampton Inn, Extended Stay.

We stayed the Courtyard Marriott last year pre-cruise and it was fine, seemed fairly new.

 

They have a shuttle to the cruise terminal. The shuttle will also take you to Ruby Tuesday's or wherever you want to go to eat and all you have to do is call when you want picked up.
