Bringing wine aboard the Royal?

If we bring extra bottles of wine onboard and pay the $15 corkage fee each bottle,can we have it with dinner in the dining room? I know we can each bring 1 bottle onboard and have it in our cabin, no fee.

Yes. Bottles of wine for which the corkage fee has been paid can be consumed in the dining room. They'll mark your paid bottles. Reports are the marking is either a stamp or a sticker.

 

Your corkage fee free bottle is only for consumption in the cabin.

We left the Royal two weeks ago. They had a liquor table right after the scanners in the terminal and we were charged $15 per bottle for every bottle over the two we were allowed. They asked us which two we wanted for the stateroom so that they could mark the ones we wanted to take to the MDR. We consumed all of them on our balcony so it did not make any difference.
