Question re Springhill Suites, Dania Beach (FLL)

Hi,

 

We are staying at Springhill Suites, 151 SW 18th Ct, Dania Beach for one night pre-cruise. One of the members of our group of 4 just had knee replacement surgery and will have a hard time hoisting himself up onto a 10 passenger van but could easily maneuveur steps on a "mini-bus" type van. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of what type of vehicle is used for the shuttle service from the airport and then to the port. We are thinking it might just be easier to take 2 taxi cabs?

 

Any input would be most appreciated.

We just stayed at the Springfield Suites last week. For the airport pickup it was the "mini-bus" type van. For the shuttle to the port they use both types. When you sign up for the shuttle with Chris ask him which type will be used for the time you sign up for. I have mobility issues and explained it to Chris and he made sure I was on a min-bus van.

 

Also, they have rooms on the first floor. At check in ask if any are available, they were very accommodating when I asked.
