ariannas1nana Posted March 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2014 We sail on the Miracle in July...I have read on here a few threads about needing a card or magnetic strip for the safe...Why? When we sailed on the Fantasy last year we didn't need anything like that...is it different on other ships? Thanks!
Rare 1kaper Posted March 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Yes, it can be different on different ships. I know on past cruises we have used a code. On our cruise last week (the Glory) we needed a magnetic strip.

tandemcruzr Posted March 14, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2014 We have an upcoming cruise on the Paradise. We've sailed her before, but don't remember if the safe is a card safe or a pin safe. Anyone know?

maldenmusic Posted March 14, 2014 #12 Share Posted March 14, 2014 I use a blank gift card. Anything with a magnetic strip-as long as you use the same card every time.
Gold Mine Gal Posted March 14, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 14, 2014 We take two identical casino cards. That way if I need to get into the safe, don't have to constantly pester DH to open safe for me. Works like a charm.:)

Rare sparks1093 Posted March 14, 2014 #16 Share Posted March 14, 2014 We always use one of our cabin keys. I don't like carrying a lot of things around the ship with me and I don't want to use another card and then just leave it in the cabin.
