Hotels pre-cruise in San Diego

Recommended Posts

We had a very nice post cruise stay at the US Grant Hotel. The hoho trolley has a stop at the Horton Plaza very close to the hotel. Lots of places to eat & drink in the area. Was not sure if you were looking for a place to spend some time precruise or just lay your head until the next day.

We have stayed at the Best Western Bayside Inn which is about 4 blocks from the cruise terminal. We found the lobby a bit dated but the rooms were updated, large clean and very comfortable. The rate included breakfast, free airport shuttle and cruise terminal shuttle. It is also kitty corner to a great Italian restaurant called Petrini's.
