scotlady Posted March 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2014 Hi. We are frequent snorkellers (is that a word?) Trying to find anyone who has taken this excursion on RCI recently. First of all, does it still leave directly from the ship? Secondly, would LOVE to hear from anyone who went out in the advanced group as to how the snorkeling was and how long you got to snorkel. Was there any live coral, and was there a wide variety of marine life? Thanks!
Slwdude Posted March 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Snorkeler, snorkelers. It is a word defining the accessory, not the individual using it. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/snorkel . Will be in Belize! snorkeling beginning of April, from an NCL cruise, will let you know how it went. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Since you mentioned NCL and going here, does NCL offer this excursion? I was trying to find one for our November trip to Belize that went to either Rendezvous Caye or Goffs and didn't see one. What is it listed as? (Or are you doing it by private tour?) topspot Posted May 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 26, 2014 We went to Rendezvous Caye on our recent cruise on the Carnival Legend. We chose a ship excursion so that we would be picked up directly from the ship. The snorkeling was good, reef was colorful and alive. They split us into groups, and we did the experienced group which snorkeled around 3/4 of the island. Current was strong in spots, but we had a guide in the water with us, plus one in a kayak for safety. The guide dove down a brought up a few things for us to hold such as a sea cucumber.
