Cozumel Swim with Dolphins- Carnival

I am cruising in May on Carnival :D and have been to Cozumel several times. I know it is significantly cheaper to book an excursion outside of the cruise line itself. When I went to book with a certain company I have used before, it would not let me proceed because I choose my ship as a Carnival ship.

 

Any advice?

a lot of them contract with carnival and will not book private if your cruising there. my friend did it back in 2010 when she went on her first cruise with us, she enjoyed it.

Book without saying Carnival, or any cruise. Then take a taxi there.

Thank you both for your responses!! I said I was staying at a hotel (you HAD to choose one or the other) My SO is a little skeptical about it, but with a savings of $70pp I just couldn't justify booking through the cruiseline.
