Clearing Customs in Southampton

It's been a few years since I last did it. Our ship arrives really early at 5:30AM. When can we reasonably expect to be though immigration? I want to arrange a limo and was thinking around 10AM

There will be negligble customs/immigration in Southampton. If you wanted to do self disembark at about 6:30, you could get picked up at 7:00 no problem (unless you were very, very unlucky!). If you are happy with 10:00, spend a bit more time over breakfast! Its your last free meal for a bit!

Southampton is hassle free. No Immigration at all. Just selective Customs checks on a few passengers and unless you had something untoward in your bags you can be from ship exit to terminal exit in 5 mins.......very straightforward.

 

So, arrange your limo for anytime from an hour after docking.....its up to you how it fits your plans.

I agree it's been quite quick and without a hassle the three times we've ended a cruise in Southampton.

I wouldn't call any meal on board free unless they comp you a specialty restaurant one. It's actually an included in your cruise fare one.:p

We had a car hired for 9 am last May and were at the kerb, bags in hand, at 7:45. Easiest disembarkation ever.
